Webbing nets for load control
Bespoke nets made to exact specifications. Commonly used for load control to limit movement of cargo and safeguard crew.
Protective nets for luggage transport conveyor belts
Nets to protect cargo and luggage during transit. Used under conveyor belts to break falls.
Cargo load control nets
Prevent loose baggage items from shifting during flight. Any movement of the load can alter the aircraft’s centre of gravity, potentially causing control difficulties. Additionally, properly secured cargo prevents issues like baggage doors opening post-flight.
Storage and stowage nets
Nets to secure items during transportation or storage, preventing movement or damage. They are essential for keeping items organised and secure within an aircraft. Storage and stowage nets are commonly used in overhead stowage bins to store carry-on items, and in aircraft dog boxes for storing flight-critical equipment (fire extinguishers, oxygen) and crew items.
Aircraft seat pocket nets and associated fittings
Aircraft seat pocket nets are to hold light objects and small items to keep them organised and secure during flight. Our nets can be supplied to fit onto existing frames or they can be supplied mounted on a frame as required.
Legal Requirements and Safety Certifications
Nets are manufactured to conform to flammability regulations, and are supplied with relevant test certificates to meet airline industry standards including:
F2 12 second vertical burn test: CS 25.853(a) Amdt. 21 App.F Pt.l(a)(1)(ii) & (b)(4)
F3 15 second horizontal burn test: CS 25.853(a) Amdt. 21 App.F Pt.l(a)(1)(iv) & (b)(5)
Other tests can be carried out as required, depending on the requirements for the project.
We also supply bungee cords in a variety of colours to be used around the periphery of the net. We also supply fittings to attach nets onto the back of aircraft seats.
